Getting your Trinity Audio player ready…
Yesterday, Twitter was buzzing that R&B singer Kehlani had allegedly cheated on her boyfriend, NBA player Kyrie Irving, with her ex PARTYNEXTDOOR, real name Jahron Anthony Brathwaite, after he posted a photo of the two in bed together. It’s unknown when the photo was taken or why the rapper posted it, but we all know that Twitter isn’t kind to women who make mistakes and often the consequences of Internet bullying can be very severe. Before deleting her Instagram account, Kehlani revealed that she’d been hospitalized following a suicide attempt. She wrote:

R&B Newcomer Kehlani Added to the 2016 ESSENCE Festival Lineup

“Today I wanted to leave this earth. Being completely selfish for once. Never thought I’d get to such a low point. But…Don’t believe the blogs you read…No one was cheated on and I am not a bad person…Everyone is hurt and everyone is in a place of misunderstanding..But God saved me for a reason, and for that…I must be grateful..Cuz I’m not in heaven right now for a reason…On that note…Bye Instagram.” Fans and celebrities quickly offered their support once they heard the news.

All of this b/c MAYBE she fucked whoever she wanted? Slut shaming drives women to suicide often. Ya’ll gotta stop. pic.twitter.com/k34r14I6m0
