As the final days of President Bush’s term draw near, the two-term leader
wants America to remember his contributions to civil rights, according to
the Washington Times. Bush said the No Child Left Behind law is “a piece of
civil rights legislation” that illustrates his significance. Bush also stated his effort to change the Social Security plan which was geared toward giving Blacks a better future.
