Supermodel Jourdan Dunn looks like she has it all! She’s spectacularly gorgeous, at the top of her game, and her body snapped back into shape roughly seven minutes after delivering her baby boy. But, as the British-Jamaican stunner told i-D magazine, her journey hasn’t all been a bed of roses. In the magazine’s ‘Exhibitionist Issue,’ the 20 year-old talks about being a single mother (her baby’s father is in jail for cocaine possession) and dealing with her son’s illness:
“The unconditional love for your child is truly amazing,” she says. “I’ll always put Riley before anything else because I’m a mother first. But Riley has Sickle Cell disease, and the hardest thing is not knowing if he’s just miserable or in pain and having a crisis. All I want to do was take the pain away…I feel helpless as a mother. I’m lending my support to a Sickle Cell charity in the near future, to help raise money and awareness about this disease.”
