Bill O’Reilly isn’t unfamiliar with controversial situations. But this time, Hollywood isn’t letting him get away with ignorance met with blatant disrespect, and that includes Hamilton star Audra McDonald.

After Michelle Obama delivered one of the greatest speeches known to man during the Democratic National Convention’s opening day, Bill O’Reilly responded to Michelle’s now famous quote – “I wake up every morning in a house that was built by slaves” – and told FOX News viewers, “Slaves that worked there were well-fed and had decent lodgings provided by the government, which stopped hiring slave labor in 1802.”

Unfortunately, Bill must have forgotten that the White House was built before 1802.

Michelle Obama Ignites DNC with Powerful Speech!

His comments were met with social media uproar, and Audra McDonald decided to help educate O’Reilly so that he never finds himself in this predicament again. McDonald provided the FOX News host with a series of tweets breaking down the housing, work and violent conditions slaves endured involuntarily.

Dear Bill O'Reilly…Maybe now you'll get why people are having a hard time with your description of the slaves 'accommodations'.

Tell him, Audra!
