Famed Vogue editor-at-large and TV personality André Leon Talley inked a deal to develop a late-night TV show, reports Women’s Wear Daily.
The outspoken and charismatic fashion king will join forces with Electus to co-produce the show.
Talley told WWD his goal is to marry “Dick Cavett’s approach to eloquence and sophistication with unparalleled access into my international fashion lifestyle. A forum where unique stories will be told and inspirations shared.” The show will be geared toward cable TV audiences.
With his larger-than-life personality, Talley is no stranger to TV. He appeared as a celebrity judge on several seasons of Tyra Banks’ America’s Next Top Model and was a red-carpet critic for ABC’s telecast of the 2007 Oscars. Although Talley’s show concept isn’t yet concrete, he will continue to work for Vogue and on other Condé Nast projects for the time being.
