There are still more than 200 Nigerian schoolgirls missing since April, and as of Tuesday, nearly 100 more have been taken at the hands of Boko Haram, according to a report from the AP. The terrorist militants have attacked villages in northeast Nigeria and taken 60 more girls and women, and 31 boys. A local resident of Kummabza, the village where this took place, said the attack occurred on Saturday. There were four fatalities. Four other villages were also attacked, which resulted in the death of 39 locals. Many of these reports were contributed by witnesses and local media, as the Nigerian local and federal government officials and security forces have yet to confirm the kidnappings. Though Nigerian military said they are aware of the location of the missing girls, they have yet to take action and are wary of doing so in fear of their lives.
