On June 26, 2011 Shaundra, a wedding planner, married her long-time love David, a business consultant, in a dreamy modern and elegagnt wedding affair at The Atrium in Atlanta, Georgia.
Shaundra’s vintage-style birdcage veil perfectly compliments her gorgeous custom-made trumpet gown.
Wedding planner Shaundra had seen enough wedding gowns throughout her career to know exactly which kind she wanted when her time came. She designed every detail of this beautiful gown, which she had custom made just for her.
Pretty pink ruffles lined the halter necks of the chic and sexy bridesmaid gowns Shaundra picked out for the ladies.
Looking like a celebrity, David arrives in style, with his entourage (AKA the groomsman) in tow.
The flower girl carried a gorgeous moss covered basket down the aisle.

The bride-to-be pauses midway up the stairs to pose for a pretty portrait.
“The mimes ministered off of Vicki Yohe’s song “Faithful”," says Shaundra. “The song is the story of my life and toward the end she starts to sing ‘great is thy faithfulness’. The mimes bowed down and I entered in. It was incredible.”
The bride is overcome with emotion as she makes her way down the aisle, escorted by her father.
The bridal party waits patiently for the bride to arrive at the altar.
The couple’s ring bearer must have been exhausted by all the pre-wedding action. He paused for a moment during the ceremony to give his feet a rest. What a precious moment; this one’s totally frame-worthy.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Anderson seal the deal with a very romantic kiss.
Each year on David’s birthday the couple goes skiing together. It’s one of Shaundra’s fondest memories with him each year — second only to their wedding day this year of course.
“It was the best day of my life,” says Shaundra. “In my eyes, the day was perfect.”

Shaundra and her new husband David take in the moment for the cameras. They were married in an outdoor garden ceremony and celebrated with an indoor reception.
“We decided to keep our wedding small and only invite guests who love us, had prayed for us, and really wished us well,” says Shaundra, about their intimate guest list.
Shaundra chose to recreate the ruffled pattern on the strap of her wedding gown as decor going down the side of their wedding cake. (Genius!) The result was absolutely stunning.
Despite the downpour on her wedding day, Shaundra recalls having just one thing only on her mind, “I didn’t care if a monsoon came and swept us away, as long as I was with David.”
For a unique spin on the usual post-wedding photos, Shaundra and David strike a pose in the fancy hotel bathroom. Very high fashion; very cute!
Once Shaundra and David took a flight together and before she knew it they were landing. “I thought to myself, ‘I don’t remember taking off!’,” she recalls.“I was so engaged in our conversation. I knew he was the one I’d always want to lose time with.”
