One of the standout moments from the 2019 BET Awards was Mary J. Blige’s tribute performance. It was a flashback straight from the ’90s when Method Man hopped on stage last night looking like a total snack as they performed their collab “All I Need.”
The reactions from Method Man’s on stage appearance reminded us of one thing: ol’ boy hasn’t aged a bit. In fact, he just keeps getting better looking as time goes by. Black Twitter clearly agrees:
We couldn’t help but appreciate this legendary piece of eye candy by going back into the vault and celebrating Method Man’s three decades of fine.
Method Man, real name Clifford M. Smith, Jr., was born in Long Island, New York. He rose to fame as part of the famous hip hop collective Wu-Tang Clan, and later branched out to solo music and acting ventures.
Always A Stunner
Whether hitting the stage in front of hundreds of thousands or on set at one of his many acting gigs, you can’t argue that meth has always been fine.
Sharing The Love
Fun fact: In addition to his good looks, Method Man has historically been coined the friendliest member of the Wu-Tang Clan. “Method Man gets along with everybody,” fellow Wu member RZA once told The Daily Beast.
Freestylin While Fine
Method Man’s skills are still tight! Don’t believe me? Just check out this freestyle battle against James Cordon (spoiler: he rapped just as good as he looked!)
All Black Everything
One of the things we love about Method Man is how easily he switches from street style to clean cut…like he did on the carpet of the 2009 VH1 Hip Hop Honors.
Those pearly whites get us every time!
Real fans know Meth’s most iconic accessory is his bucket hat.
Rock The Mic
Method Man and Redman prove they can still rock a crowd at O2 Academy Brixton in London.
Suit and Tie
The rapper gave us hot flashes in this pinstripe suit while a guest on Late Night With Seth Meyers. Here, he told the audience that rappers make great actors for one important reason: “they’re great liars.”
Method Man had Randall’s Island turned all the way at Governor’s Ball 2017.
Jack Of All Trades
Rapper, actor and now…TV host! The multi-talented artist looked sharp AF during his press run for the show ‘TBS Drop the Mic.’
Like Fine Wine
Meth popped out at Mary J. Blige’s tribute performance looking like he’s aging in reverse. How, Sway?
