Mariah Carey, Questlove and Trey Songz will be added as a kickoff to the holiday season, performing this year at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The 89th annual broadcast will air at 9 a.m. EST on NBC’s Today Show in New York.

Questlove of the Roots will be joined by the cast of Sesame Street, reports USA Today.
Of the 8,000 plus participants of the parade, other performances will include American Idol season 6 winner Jordin Sparks and the cast of the upcoming NBC live-action remake of The Wiz.
