Carol’s Daughter recently debuted a new campaign to coincide with the company’s 25th Anniversary.
Titled #NoApologies, the campaign seeks to encourage every woman to celebrate her individuality and uniqueness. The brand, which amassed a cult-like following during the natural hair movement, also released a video to help commemorate the very special occasion.
Featuring brand founder Lisa Price, as well as 10 beauty influencers and spoken word artist Mahogany L. Browne, the campaign is meant to encourage and uplift, which it certainly does. In addition to celebrating women, the video also pays homage to the brand’s early Brooklyn beginnings.
“To celebrate 25 years, there was only one place to be, Brooklyn,” Price says in the video. “I wanted to incorporate the magic, love and community of Brooklyn,” she shares.
