The 29th Annual SAG Awards took place on Sunday evening, awarding the actors and ensemble casts with the most outstanding performances in film and television over the last year.
The cast of Abbott Elementary won big in the Comedy Series category, while Angela Bassett, Viola Davis, and Danielle Deadwyler were nominated in the supporting and lead actress categories. While these ladies didn’t get their big opportunity to take home a win on stage this year, the evening still seemed like a celebratory gathering of actors who are fans of other actors, appreciating and congratulating their peers for their stellar work in 2022.
