It’s not hard to believe that there were a countless number of amazing moments that took place during the filming of Marvel’s Black Panther, and one priceless memory, in particular, had the entire cast in sync with a little help from 2018 ESSENCE Fest headliner Snoop Dogg.

During their extensive press tour to promote the blockbuster film, which has now earned over $700 million at the box office worldwide, the cast was often asked to reflect on their favorite BTS moments that happened on set. On more than one occasion, everyone from Chadwick Boseman, to Lupita Nyong’o, to Michael B. Jordan, to Danai Gurira, to Daniel Kaluuya, to Leticia Wright, to Winston Duke were all smiles as they shared a specific memory that involved African drum rhythms and a classic track from the “Dogg Father” himself.
