Kensington Palace has released the official engagement photos of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and the royal-to-be’s dress was truly fit for a princess! Markle wore a gorgeous black Ralph & Russo gown with a sheer, embellished bodice and full tulle skirt from the designer’s fall 2017 couture collection.
Considering the dress retails for $75,000, Markle definitely made a major statement with her risqué fashion choice, proving that she’s willing to bend the traditional rules of royalty.
Ralph & Russo is already a favorite among A-listers, and we’ve seen a few of our favorite celebrities wearing the British haute couture brand. Zendaya wore a bright pink Ralph & Russo gown to the Spider-Man: Homecoming premiere, and Beyoncé even commissioned designs from the label for her Mrs. Carter tour. Rihanna has also been spotted wearing dresses from the brand.
