CFDA award winner, Maxwell Osborne has collaborated with Andbox, the first multi-franchise esports organization to represent New York, for a new collection. The Public School co-founder stepped out of his comfort zone of designing luxury basics and stepped into the lucrative market of gaming. “At Public School, we design with the idea of sophisticated ease and keep in mind our collective upbringing in New York City,” Osbourne told ESSENCE. “For Andbox I’ve switched design caps to focus on a new consumer.”
Currently sitting as the creative director for the gaming brand, the designer has created a collection that includes his street-wear savviness with Andbox’s gaming expertise. The new collection features men and women apparel that carries a variety of windbreakers, fleeces, lounge pants, jerseys, tees and more. “Andbox is a lifestyle brand created to improve a gamers life. We are focused on the idea of functionality and how our product can make gamers perform better. In addition, we concentrated on our consumer’s changing environment and how to make them feel the most comfortable,” said Osborne.

Andbox has made a commitment to work with New York’s creative communities to connect gaming to culture in new, unexpected ways – hence the Osborne link up. “When designing for ANDBOX we looked at a gamers life, but always through the lens of New York City. We would ask ourselves daily how can we make a gamers life better,” said Osborne.
The new collection is priced between $35 and $120 which you can purchase here.
