Leyna Bloom has been an activist for trans women for some time now, however, her mainstream recognition is just beginning to build. This year has been been filled with major wins for Bloom. She made history as the first trans actress of color to lead a film at Cannes, she slayed the Tommy Hilfiger x Zendaya runway show and she served looks in a nomadic-themed fashion shoot for our September issue.
But when she’s not in a couture fashion spread, her style is equally as chic. Crops tops and mini skirts seem to be Bloom’s aesthetic, giving us an early 2000s flair that we absolutely love. And of course, she’s supporting socially conscious brands by most recently rocking black-owned label Telfar’s unisex mini shopping bag.
