Not one fashion show this European menswear season was as angelic as Jacquemus, and quite frankly, no one came close to his shade range in models. It’s rare in 2019 that a runway doesn’t have at least one token Black model but Jacquemus hit the nail on the head with curating a show with at least half of the models being of color. Considering the French designer is opting out of the September showdown, he combined menswear and womenswear for his fashion show this past week. From lilacs to super mini bags, Jacquemus seems to gain more consumers with every season, and rightfully so.
