Fresh off the heels of her televised baby bump reveal on Saturday Night Live (just a week ago), and with the announcement of her new clothing line collaboration with Fashion Nova, Cardi B, continues to wow us with her intuitive fashion sense.
In the photo, TLC members Chili, Left-Eye and T-Boz are seen on the red carpet at a past Grammy Awards show wearing matching, all-white silk and chiffon ensembles. Cardi’s post proved to be a precursor for what she and her fashion stylist, Kollin Carter had cooked up for her big performance because she walked out on stage dressed exactly like the girl group’s photo!
Cardi was dressed head-to-toe in white, wearing a netted bustier top, satin high-waist pants that had an elastic waistband and sheer side-panels. Her ensemble not only paid homage but evoked the soft-masculinity that TLC so fashionably showcased during the ’90s. Cardi’s hair was also a reflection, as it was ‘touched by Tokyo’ (her hairstylist), in three high-knotted ponytails with a lofty ‘swoop bang’ that was also reminiscent of the 90’s.
