Congratulations are in order for rapper Nicki Minaj!
Minaj announced Tuesday that she and fiancé Kenneth Petty have officially tied the knot. She shared the news on social media, teasing fans with a video that included “Mr. and Mrs.” mugs, baseball caps that read “Bride and “Groom,” and an official date, October 21.
In June, it was reported that the rapper and her fiancé had applied for a marriage license. During an episode of Apple Beats 1 Queen Radio, Minaj revealed, “We did get our marriage license. I think I have what I was striving for…just happiness. It was hard to get to a happy place. Now that I’m here I don’t want to compromise that for anyone or anything.”
Later, Minaj hinted at being pregnant and starting a family during a collab with Chance the Rapper on “Zanies and Fools.”
