Netflix is adding new titles this month that put women at the forefront.

The streaming giant is celebrating Women’s History Month with titles like Roxanne Roxanne and shows with female leads. The future is female and Netflix is out to prove it.

The eight-episode docu-series from Mass Appeal follows hip-hop artists as they take us into their lives. Featuring lyrical genius, Rapsody, the show looks at artists’ lives with friends and family as they tour, hit the studio, and perform in front of massive crowds.

Queens MC Roxanne Shanté left her mark on hip-hop in the early 80s and this Netflix original tells the story of how the rapper hustled to become a hip-hop legend. The film stars Chanté Adams, Nia Long, and Mahershala Ali.
