Hip-hop icon, media personality and businesswoman MC Lyte was met with overjoyed reactions from fans of the film when she shared a photo of the upcoming Love Jones: The Musical stage play advertisement on her personal Instagram page over the weekend.

The production will be brought to life by director Theodore Witcher, and is set to feature an impressive cast of R&B music favorites including Chrisette Michele, Musiq Soulchild, Marsha Ambrosious, Dave Hollister, Raheem DeVaughn and MC Lyte herself.
According to the ad poster, Love Jones: The Musical will hit theaters sometime this fall.
