Janelle Monáe has dropped videos for her latest singles, “Django Jane” and “Make Me Feel,” from her forthcoming third studio album, Dirty Computer. Monáe brings vibrant color to both videos with “Make Me Feel” nodding to Prince and Black Mirror‘s “San Junipero.” The video also features Tessa Thompson as Monáe’s love interest.

In “Django Jane,” Monáe flexes her rap skills celebrating Blackness as she sits on a throne surrounded by Black women, “Black girl magic, y’all can’t stand it / Y’all can’t ban it, made out like a bandit / They been trying hard just to make us all vanish / I suggest they put a flag on a whole ‘nother planet.” And, like us, fans are loving the new videos.

Monáe recently shared the trailer for her upcoming album, which featured a masked joyride, a raucous party, police dragging a woman away, and the singer’s signature futuristic touch. The singer recently attended ESSENCE’s Black Women in Music event honoring Missy Elliott and gave a powerful speech during the Grammys calling out the music industry’s abuse of power.
