VH1 will be airing its annual salute to the magical moms behind some of our favorite celebrities on May 6.

Dear Mama: A Love Letter to Mom will feature H.E.R. and Ashanti honoring the women who’ve loved and supported them on their journeys to becoming Grammy Award-winning artists.

Ciara, a proud mother herself, will participate in the program as well. She will represent #SeeHer, an initiative to promote gender equality by increasing the accurate portrayals of women and girls in advertising and media.

The group will honor mothers who have worked to support their mission during the program.
