Freeform has announced that the second season of Grown-ish will premiere in early 2019.Yara Shahidi and crew will back for their sophomore year at CalU on Jan. 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Freeform. Returning alongside Shahidi is Trevor Jackson, Francia Raisa, Emily Arlook, Jordan Buhat, Chloe and Halle Bailey, Luka Sabbat and Deon Cole. Kenya Barris, Julie Bean, Jenifer Rice-Genzuk Henry, Craig Doyle, Anthony Anderson, and Laurence Fishburne, Variety reports. The show was renewed for a second season earlier this year by Freeform. The Kenya Barris series premiered with network’s highest ratings for a comedy debut in almost six years, with 1.56 million total viewers. Its debut was also the night’s No. 1 scripted series on cable among women 18-49. We can’t wait!
