“Bad and Boujee” the catchy Migos song featuring Lil Uzi Vert topped the Billboard Hot 100 today, a rise believed to be driven largely by the shoutout Donald Glover gave the song at the Golden Globe Awards Sunday night. “I really wanna thank the Migos, not for being in the show, but for making ‘Bad and Boujee,’” Glover said during his acceptance speech for winning the comedy TV series award for his hit FX show Atlanta. “Like, that’s the best song ever.” When asked why he called out Migos in a post-show interview, Glover said: “I love the Migos. I think they’re awesome. Subscribe to our daily newsletter for the latest in hair, beauty, style and celebrity news. I think they’re the Beatles. And that song [‘Bad and Boujee’] is just amazing.” Migos guest starred on the show, which was created by Glover who also won the best actor Golden Globe for a comedy TV series for his turn as Ernest “Ern” Marks. “Bad and Boujee” is the first Hot 100 No. 1 for both Migos and Lil Uzi Vert, Billboard reports. The song has inspired numerous memes and tweets playing off the song’s “raindrop, drop top” lyrics.
