Beyoncé and Jay Z’s “On the Run” tour is coming to HBO this fall. The broadcast will show the pair’s stop at Stade de France in Paris. Michael Lombardo, president of the network’s programming said, “This is a major musical event that belongs on HBO. It’s going to be a night to remember.” Fans can catch the “On the Run” tour on HBO September 12-13. [Vibe]

Classic soul music label Stax Records is on its way to becoming the subject of a Broadway musical. The play about the legendary label that represented Otis Redding, The Staple Singers, Isaac Hayes and many more will be written by Matthew Benjamin. The production is slated for a spring 2016 Broadway premiere. [Billboard]
