Tomi Lahren Takes Issue With MTV and Beyoncé

The controversial commentator Tomi Lahren tried to come for Beyoncé.
Tomi Lahren Takes Issue With MTV and Beyoncé

Having already attacked Colin Kaepernick, the Black Lives Matter movement, and others, controversial commentator Tomi Lahren has found two new targets: MTV and Beyoncé.

MTV recently released a video titled, “2017 Resolutions for White Guys,” where a young, diverse group of people had a few messages for white males, including “Blue Lives Matter” not being a thing, America never being great for non-white males, and Beyoncé rightfully caring about black issues. Lahren, a conservative political commentator for The Blaze, was not a fan.

“Apparently, white males are no longer allowed to say ‘all lives matter’ or ‘blue lives matter’ or ‘woke’ because a group of snowflakes on MTV say so,” she said in her Final Thoughts segment.

“Nah, I don’t think so. Let me help you all out, because you clearly don’t get it. And since I’m a white female, I guess your crap doesn’t fully apply to me anyway.”

She continued by arguing that “All Lives Matter” encompasses African-American lives and intimating that it isn’t causing the destruction of property other movements are. Lahren, who gained popularity through her videos on Facebook, then turned her attention to Beyoncé.

“Wouldn’t it be nice if she cared as much about violence in black communities as she does shaking her butt at the Super Bowl… that will be the day,” she exclaimed.

Lahren’s profile has continued to rise recently courtesy of a controversial appearance on The Daily Show. In an extended interview, host Trevor Noah grilled her on criticism of Kaepernick, the NFL quarterback, for kneeling during the national anthem and comparing Black Lives Matter to the Ku Klux Klan.

While telling people to “get over” Donald Trump being elected as the next president in her latest rant, she fired back at MTV for not including a “white man, straight, god-fearing conservative” in their video.

“Perhaps a good MTV New Year’s resolution would be to recognize a young conservative audience might be a group you don’t want to completely and totally alienate,” she stated. “I don’t think many Americans will be taking New Year’s resolutions from the network that also gives us Teen Mom.”
