On January 13, 1913, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was founded at Howard University. Fast forward to today and there are more than 350,000 members around the world, queens that include a long list of notable women: From the late Dorothy Height and Shirley Chisholm, to Aunjanue Ellis, Keshia Knight-Pulliam, and a slew of other public figures who are honorary members.
Every January 13 is a day of connection amongst members, recommitment to the vision of the founders and the work of the organization, as well as a celebration. Crimson and cream is a must on this day, and to help you show up and show out for the sorority on January 13 and all year long, we’ve gathered some red hot apparel and accessories made by Black creatives who can be found on WeLoveUs.Shop, a marketplace powered by ESSENCE. Take a look.
