On January 13, 1913, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was founded at Howard University. Fast forward to today and there are more than 350,000 members around the world, queens that include a long list of notable women: From the late Dorothy Height and Shirley Chisholm, to Aunjanue Ellis, Keshia Knight-Pulliam, and a slew of other public figures who are honorary members.
Every January 13 is a day of connection amongst members, recommitment to the vision of the founders and the work of the organization, as well as a celebration. Crimson and cream is a must on this day, and to help you show up and show out for the sorority on January 13 and all-year long, we’ve gathered some red hot apparel and accessories made by Black creatives who can be found on WeLoveUs.Shop, a marketplace powered by ESSENCE. Take a look.
