A West Hollywood studio where Usher was recording became the site of an armed robbery on Tuesday.
According to TMZ, witnesses present during the incident reported that multiple shots were fired at Westlake Recording Studio while the R&B singer was working. Police said he was not harmed, and witnesses saw him leaving the studio later that evening.
Police reported that the shooting was the result of a robbery. The presumed target was rapper Rich The Kid. The rapper’s entourage was viciously attacked during the robbery and at least one of them was severely pistol whipped.
This isn’t the first time Rich The Kid has been the victim of a violent robbery. He and his girlfriend Torri Brixx, with whom he is currently expecting a child, were robbed as well. Brixx’s face was injured during that incident.
The assailants on Tuesday reportedly walked away with a significant amount of cash and jewelry.
