Tina Knowles-Lawson was hospitalized in Atlanta over the weekend after she suffered an asthma attack.
The 61-year-old newlywed was in town for an awards show with her hubby, Richard Lawson, when she fell ill.
“I came to Atlanta with my hubby for an award show,” she posted on Instagram yesterday, snapping a hospital bed selfie. “I had an asthma attack and wound up in a hospital here. Hope to be out tomorrow! Pray for me!”

But have no fear—all is well. Knowles-Lawson was released later that afternoon.
“Happy day!!” she Instagrammed in a follow-up post. “Getting out of the hospital on my way to airport to go home Thanks for the prayers!!!!”
Thank goodness for her speedy recovery!
