Now, actor Terry Crews is sharing a personal story of his own, recounting the time an unnamed Hollywood executive groped him.

“My wife n I were at a Hollywood function last year n a high level Hollywood executive came over 2 me and groped my privates,” Crews revealed on Twitter.

This whole thing with Harvey Weinstein is giving me PTSD. Why? Because this kind of thing happened to ME. (1/Cont.)

Crews went on to explain that he received an apology following the assault, but the exec never explained why he did it. The actor decided not to pursue the issue any further, explaining that the reasons many of Weinstein’s accusers never came forward are the same reasons he’s stayed silent.

The New York Times first published the allegations against Weinstein in early October and on Tuesday shared more stories from stars like Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow, who claim the Hollywood producer made unwanted sexual advances. Ronan Farrow also shared stories from a number of other accusers for The New Yorker.

Weinstein has since been fired from The Weinstein Company and plans to sue The New York Times and The New Yorker.
