Xscap3’s Tamika Scott is walking with the help of a crutch these days and you’ll never believe how the singer obtained her injury.
The member of the now R&B trio stopped by the ESSENCE offices and recounted the hilarious story that involved herself, her husband and a sex swing.
“We should’ve done it professionally but my husband installed [the swing],” she began. “It says it holds up to 500 pounds. Y’all, we get to swinging and, bam! I was yelling in pain, but he thought I was in the moment.”
Scott and her husband, Darnell Winston have been together for quite some time and have a 4-year-old daughter named Armani along with the singers two other children, Oshun and Taniyah.
The singer will be hobbling around with a knee brace for a couple of weeks under doctor’s orders. Word to the wise: Always hire a professional to get the job done.
