Serena Williams may be the number one womens tennis player in the world and has appeared on the cover of several top fashion magazines, but in a recent interview with The Telegraph, Williams revealed one thing she finds harder than tennis: fashion!
Williams, who is expecting her first child, told the British newspaper:
“Fashion is hard; harder than tennis. In tennis I make my own destiny, but in fashion you have to rely on so many other people. You canât give up, even more so than in sport. I am still fighting to make the right choices⦠one step at a time.”
Despite Williams’ beliefs, the tennis star has proven that she can hold her own in the fashion world. In addition to working with top fashion photographers for various magazines, Williams also designs her own fashion label for HSN, she’s an ambassador for luxury watch brand Audemars Piguet and has slayed on numerous red carpets like this yearâs Met Gala where she debuted her baby bump in a emerald green Atelier Versace gown.
