We'd Definitely Go See This Rihanna And Lupita Nyong'o Film The Internet Dreamt Up

The idea stemmed from a 2014 photo of the pair looking sickeningly gorgeous.

The internet is a gold mine for fresh ideas, and this latest one has several stars involved.

Back in 2014, Rihanna and Lupita Nyong’o were photographed seated next to each other at a Miu Miu show in Paris. The ladies took several photos together at what appeared to be their first time meeting. “MiuMiu selfie with the sensational Rihanna,” Lupita captioned her photo with the singer.

Now, the seriously snatched photo of the pair has gotten new life from fans.

Derived from a 2015 Tumblr drawing and recirculated photo last week, a Twitter user captioned the photo, “Rihanna looks like she scams rich white men and Lupita is the computer smart best friend that helps plan the scams.”

Enter Lupita, who garnered a collective “yas” from fans when she tweeted this in reply: “I’m down if you are @rihanna.” Rihanna replied, “I’m in Pit’z,” a nickname for Lupita.

But then things took a more serious turn when producer, Helen Estabrook said, “.@Lupita_Nyongo @rihanna I will more than happily produce this movie.” Naturally, a writer and director were then needed, to which Issa Rae was called into the mix.

The Insecure star happily obliged and Ava DuVernay then joined in on the fun, sharing a mock-up of a scene.

“Lights set. Camera’s up. Ready to call action for these #queens,” Ava replied.

And last but not least, Yara Shahidi stepped into the conversation vying for a role in the make-believe epic heist film.

Can I please be the protégée that is only a cameo in the first movie, but who's character comes to fruition in the sequel @Lupita_Nyongo 😬 https://t.co/TsMFwRgJC7

“Can I please be the protégée that is only a cameo in the first movie, but whose character comes to fruition in the sequel @Lupita_Nyongo,” the Black-ish actress said.

No word on if this film is really happening. But if it does, it will literally be a dream come true for fans.
