You’d have to be pretty reckless and dumb to attempt to rob Bun B.

Houston’s ABC13 reports that the rapper fired shots Tuesday at a home intruder, who held his wife Angela “Queenie” Walls at gunpoint and attempted to rob her.

Suspect Demonte Jackson was shot and fled after ringing the doorbell to the rapper’s house and directing Bun B’s wife to hand over property. She offered Jackson the Audi in their garage.

After hearing the commotion, Bun B, whose birth name is Bernard Freeman, grabbed his gun and rushed downstairs where he confronted Jackson in the garage.

The rapper fired multiple shots. Jackson fled on foot, but later showed up at a hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound.

Jackson was arrested and now faces three felony charges.

Bun B and his wife were uninjured in the incident.
