A night of comedy took a negative turn after Nene Leakes clapped back at a heckler.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta [RHOA] star was performing a comedy routine at Paramount Theater in California on Sunday night when the crowd started booing and a particular audience member caught her attention. According to E! News, the show included other female comedians like Loni Love and Tiffany Haddish.

So NENE LEAKES comes to Oakland at the Paramount, gets BOO'd then tells woman in crowd "she hopes the Uber driver that picks her up RAPES her" WOW. This is a prime example as to why EVERYBODY is NOT a comedian. Um @theshaderoom @kyle.anfernee @theclosetratchet yal gon post this or nah? 💁🏾#neneleakes

“I ain’t even gonna get to tell you about the God-da-n Uber driver,” she said through the boos. “I hope he rape yo ass tonight when he take you home, b–ch and steal yo’ funky hello kitty, b–ch.”

SWIPE: Girls Nite Out Comedy Tour went down in Oakland Ca last nite and I had big fun with @tiffanyhaddish @comiclonilove and got to hug @paulmooneylive Much love & success to @adele_givens @hope.flood @melaniecomarcho

Leakes has yet to comment about the remarks.

RHOA is currently filming and was recently in the news for a series of incidents that happened while the cast was in Barcelona. No word on how or if Leakes was involved in any of the drama. But the reality was in the news last week for calling co-star Kim Zolciak racist because of a video her daughter shared with a bug in Leakes’ home. Zolciak has since vehemently denied being a racist and has alluded to a bigger disagreement with Leakes that will play out on the show.

UPDATE: Leakes wrote an apology, which she posted to Instagram.

“I truly regret and apologize for what I said on stage in Oakland over the weekend” she said. “Sometimes words can cut deep and hurt when you have no intentions of doing so. As a woman and someone who has survived abuse, I regret the words that I used. I made a mistake and I should have known better. I hope people accept my deepest and sincerest apologies. I am sorry.”
