ESSENCE Festival performer Janelle Monae totally switches up her style in her latest video, “Dance Apocalyptic.”
The usually conservatively dressed Monae lets her hair down and sports a fur-like jacket while she rocks out with hundreds of screaming girls. Things go from calm to chaotic as the music and dancing takes over. Monae and her band trash the stage and leave on the back of motorcycles—how rocker chic of her!
