Miguel’s new video, “Candles in the Sun,” is the second single off of his sophomore album, Kaleidoscope Dream.
The nearly five-minute black and white clip juxtaposes images of Hurricane Sandy damage, guns, poverty, religion and more paired to Miguel’s emotional lyrics. “White colored boy crime, money gets spent/ just candles in the sun, blown in the wind/ sun goes down/ heroes often get shot,” sings Miguel.
