Little League pitcher Mo’ne Davis has one more thing that she can add to her resume: Sports Illustrated Kids‘ SportsKid of the Year.

The 13-year-old pitcher made headlines this August after throwing two shutouts games, one of which led her Philadelphia team to the Little League World Series. Her second shutout helped her team clinch the title.

First Lady Michelle Obama broke the news to the Twitterverse on Monday, tweeting, “Congrats to @MoneDavis11 on becoming the @SIKids’ 2014 #SportsKid of the Year! You knocked it out of the park for girls everywhere. -mo”

Davis is the first girl to pitch a shutout in a Little League World Series, and in August, she was the first Little Leaguer to land a Sports Illustrated cover. Since then, she has appeared on countless talk shows, received praise from both celebrities and professional athletes, and just this month, she announced that she would be writing a memoir, set to drop next March.
