Former psychic Miss Cleo has passed away at the age of 53.
Miss Cleo, whose real name was Youree Dell Harris, had reportedly been battling colon cancer and was “a pillar of strength” throughout her ordeal, according to a statement from her rep issued to TMZ. She passed away at the Palm Beach County Hospital in Florida early Tuesday morning while surrounded by family and close friends.
The Los Angeles, California native rose to fame in the late 90s when she began work for the Psychic Readers Network and was featured in a series of informercials advertising her services as a Jamaican psychic.
Miss Cleo is survived by two daughters.
