When Mrs. O rose up from the audience at the final Presidential Debate at Lynn University in Florida, we did a double take. This was the same Thom Browne dress the First Lady wore just a month earlier at the DNC in North Carolina – this time accessorized to the “T.” With a black ribbon belt and brooch, Mrs. O brought the dress back even stronger. Bravo!
The Democratic National Convention in North Carolina was where we first spotted Michelle Obama donning Thom Browne’s lace frock. This particular time she allowed the dress to shine on it’s own without adding any accessories.
This past Easter, the First Lady attended Sunday service in a lovely jacquard Thakoon sheath dress with a cropped 3/4 sleeve cardigan, Schreiner brooch and patent leather kitten heels.
Three years earlier in 2009, Mrs. Obama visited with French President Nicholas Sarkozy wearing the same perfectly tailored Thakoon dress.
