If you’ve been pining for a Foxy Brown television adaptation, then your prayers have been answered. Meagan Good will be starring as the iconic lead in Hulu’s new reboot.
Good will not only take on Pam Grier‘s role in the upcoming TV series, but she’ll produce alongside her husband DeVon Franklin and his production company Franklin Entertainment. The show has also snagged Empire‘s co-executive producer Malcolm Spellman, while Hand of God creator Ben Watkins will helm the script.

Good has other projects slated for release next year, including Lifetime’s The 10th Date. She’s coming off starring turns on two network shows: Code Black and Minority Report.
There’s no date set yet for the series, but we’re sure it will be a binge-worthy hit.
