The Cleveland Cavaliers forward has signed on to star in Space Jam 2, a sequel to the 1996 live-action, animated sports film, starring Michael Jordan, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Fast & Furious 6 director Justin Lin is possibly attached. This will be James’ second foray into acting. He most recently starred in the Amy Schumer comedy, Trainwreck.
The original Space Jam earned $230 million and continues to be the highest grossing basketball film of all time.
