Kevin Hart has been everywhere this past year with big box office films like Central Intelligence and comedy special Kevin Hart: What Now?, both of which left fans rolling with laughter.
Now, the comedian is in talks to play a very well-known, iconic character – Santa.
Hart is negotiating with Disney to star in Dashing Through The Snow, a Christmas comedy about a New York City detective who has a tense relationship with his son. The solution to the strained father-son union is Santa making the man believe in Christmas magic.
No director is currently attached to the project, but John Jacobs and Will Packer, who worked with Hart on a number of films, including The Wedding Ringer and Ride Along, are set to produce.

Hart is currently filming Sony’s Jumanji sequel with Jack Black and Dwayne Johnson. We hope he’s not too busy for the role, because we have a feeling he’d make a pretty cool Santa.
