Anika Noni Rose and Beverly Johnson were all smiles at the House of Flowers dinner in Beverly Hills honoring Cheryl Boone Isaacs and Diahann Carroll. Rose will join Carroll on Broadway next spring for A Raisin in the Sun.
“I don’t think I really understand what the passing of time means until I come to an event like this,” noted Diahann Carroll, here with Angela Bassett. “[Thank you] for helping me realize that I’ve come a long way down the road of where I wanted to go.”
