While reports have confirmed that Ed Hartwell is indeed the father of his estranged wife Keshia Knight Pulliam’s new daughter Ella Grace, in another twist, the former NFLer says he isn’t ready to pay child support.

Wait, what?!

According to Page Six, Hartwell has been “stalling” to make payments for the care of the child, who was born in January, because he does not believe that the former child star is in financial distress.

Instead, Hartwell, who once appeared on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, has asked the judge to determine an exact monthly amount before he hands over a check. He has also asked that the judge consider the fact that he will have to create a nursery in his own home.

The drama continues for the couple who tied the knot during a surprise wedding on New Year’s Eve 2016. Their happily ever after didn’t last long, and their very public split began making headlines in July, just days after Pulliam announced her pregnancy.

Their rocky road to parenthood included Hartwell doubting his paternity, but now that the facts are in, let’s hope these two can stop feuding for good and move forward for the sake of their baby girl.
