Gospel music icon Donnie McClurkin shared photos of the horrific accident that almost took his life last week.
McClurkin, 59, lost consciousness while driving early in the morning and started swerving in traffic. He ultimately crashed into a concrete median.
He shared photos Friday of the accident’s aftermath.
“This is the totaled car that two angels rescued me from ….after passing out while driving,” he wrote in a Facebook post. “I don’t remember most of what happened a day and a half ago…but God!”

In a previous Facebook post, the Grammy Award-winning entertainer thanked two motorists who intervened to help stop traffic.
McClurkin left the accident with stitches on his left thumb, a sprained wrist, a hurt knee and — as photos showed — a totaled car.
Since the accident, McClurkin has traveled internationally, against doctor’s orders. But we are glad he is okay.
