Chrissy Teigen Paid Off This Skincare Entrepreneur’s Beauty School Tuition

Chrissy Teigen continues to casually be her awesome self!

The supermodel made news Saturday when she paid off the last part of a North Carolina woman’s beauty school tution.

Mercedes Edney had started her own crowd-fundraiser last month to raise the necessary $5,995 to attend esthetician school. By Friday evening, she had raised just about $390.

Then a new donation came in Saturday with the final $5,605. And to Edney’s surprise, Teigen was the generous donor.

“I’ve seen this be your passion for such a long time now,” Teigen wrote in a note with her donation. “So excited to see you fulfill your dream!”

Edney had spent the last half-decade build her skincare line Ixora Botanical Beauty, using her chemical engineering background and family beauty secrets to create the natural products, according to the Huffington Post.
Beauty school was a chance for Edney to get her license in esthetics to further build her knowledge base, she said.

And then Teigen made her dream come through! Just like that!

We’re excited to see where Ixora Botanical Beauty goes after this!
