Whether you call it by its full name, its acronym, or simply just “Howard,” Howard University holds national weight.

Ranked second among HBCUs and in top slots for attendance for competitive students, placing graduates in the most successful law firms, and for producing the most Black doctorate recipients of any non-profit university, HU is more than just your ordinary college.

Known for the dynamic and important role it played during the Civil Rights Movement, Howard University’s legacy is one that deserves much respect, immense attention, and unwavering love from the Black community.
