The rapper abruptly left the platform this week after responding to the hate she received for winning the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. Fans feared she might be gone for good, but it turns out she may have just been taking a break before announcing a new single.

“Ok so I’m back from retirement to announce I have a brand new song coming out Friday at midnight with @brunomars .    #twogrammywinningartist,” she wrote, ending the caption with two emojis of golden trophies.

Cardi did not reveal the name of the song, but she did post a picture of the artwork.
