Bruno Mars wants to make sure his entire band has a sprinkle of that 24-karat magic…in the aiiiiiir!The “Finesse” singer commemorated the end of his recent world tour by gifting his band, the Hooligans, matching gold watches that each came with a $55,000 price tag.
According to ABC News, Mars had the fourth highest-grossing tour in 2018 and he clearly has no problem spreading the wealth to make sure his crew is dripping. Watch enthusiast website Hodinkee reported that the watches were the coveted Extra-Thin ‘Jumbo’ Royal Oaks model. The impressive Audemars Piguet selections were presented in personalized boxes that labeled them as “Bruno Mars 24K Magic World Tour Edition” timepieces.
Mars posted images of the generous gifts and the band receiving them in a slideshow on his Instagram page. The fitting caption read, “My boys continue to show the world what time it is, and a band that sings together blings together!” And here you thought that scented candle your boss got you for Christmas was generous.
